Send Personally for Outlook Express allows you to send personal messages to many recipients from Microsoft Outlook Express.

The main problem with sending messages to multiple recipients from Outlook Express is that all recipients are in the email header. If the recipient list is not too large, it will not be a problem.

But, if you send a message to hundreds or thousands addressees, its header might grow too big in size exceeding the size of the message body and any attachments combined. In addition, a message sent to many recipients at a time may be recognized as SPAM and deleted.

Send Personally for Outlook Express offers an easy remedy.

The Send Personally adds a new button "Send Personally" into the Outlook Express toolbar. When you click this button, a separate message will be created for each person.

All your recipients will receive personalized email with only his/her name and address in the "To" field, and no information about any of other addressees.

Moreover, you can put the recipient's name in the message body as if the message was sent only to him/her.

Macros for email personalization

You can use four macros in the message body or subject line. When sending a message, these macros are replaced with personal data of each recipient:

• %USERNAME% -replaced with recipient's name. If the name is not available, the macro will be replaced with the part of recipient's address coming before the "@" symbol (the first letter case will be changed to cap);
• %USERFIRSTNAME% - replaced with the first word of the recipient's name;
• %USERLASTNAME% - replaced with the last word of the recipient's name;
• %USEREMAIL% - replaced with the recipient's address.

No additional actions are needed

The Send Personally for Outlook Express is ready to use right upon installation, no special setup procedures are needed. Just press the "Send Personally" button instead of the standard "Send" button.
