The vCard format is a universal format of storing contact information and it is supported by many email clients. You can send your contact data in the vCard format with every message, so your recipients will have the latest and full contact information about you. The same way, some messages with vCard files attached might get into your mailbox. And if there are a lot of such messages, importing data from messages to your address book manually can be very time-consuming.

VCard Converter allows you to automate the work with files in the vCard format.

With VCard Converter plugin you can:

• Export data from vCard format files into your address book or contacts.
• Import data from the address book to the vCard format files.
• Process a great number of contacts simultaneously.

How to work with VCard Converter plugin

Please make sure the vCard Converter is enabled.

After you install the MAPILab Toolbox, go to "Tools" -> "MAPILab Toolbox" -> "Options" and make sure the checkbox of the plugin is checked.

VCard Converter is supplied with a ready-to-use list of rules that will help you virtually carry out all actions with contact information stored in the vCard format. You can also create your own rules.

If our example, we import data from the address book into a file with the VCF extension that will be later sent to the recipient by email. Right-click on the Contacts folder and select "vCard Converter" --> "Export all contacts from current contact folder into vCard file". The program will prompt you to enter the name of the file to be created, then it will process all contacts and create a VCF file that all imported information will be saved in:
