Merge Cells Wizard is an add-in that perfectly merges Excel cells values. Use Merge Cells Wizard each time you need to place data from several cells into one cell or when you need to combine several cells retaining their values.

Do you often see the following Microsoft Excel message when joining several cells with multiple values?

With Merge Cells Wizard for Excel you can

  • Merge selected cells into one cell using any separator and place the results to:
    • Top right corner of the selected range
    • Top left corner of the selected range
    • Bottom right corner of the selected range
    • Bottom left corner of the selected range

  • Join Excel cells row by row using any separator and place the results to:
    • Left cell of each row in the selected range
    • Right cell of each row in the selected range

  • Join Excel cells column by column using any separator and place the results to:
    • Top cell of each column in the selected range
    • Bottom cell of each column in the selected range

  • Clear the cells after their content has been merged.
  • Merge all areas in the selection.
  • Exclude empty cells from merging.

Merging Excel cells with Merge Cells Wizard

  1. In your Excel worksheet, select the cells whose values you want to join and click the Merge Cells Wizard button.
  2. In the Merge Cells Wizard dialog box, specify (see screenshots above)
    • How you are going to join cells values: all cells, row-by-row or column-by-column.
    • What separator you want to use.
    • Where you want to place the results.
  3. Click the Merge button.

If you want to clear the cells the values from which have been merged, tick the Clear the content of selected cells checkbox.

If you want to merge all areas in the selection, tick the checkbox of the same name.
