Replace / Modify Text using edit rules

The replace/ modify text feature allows you to easily modify your Excel data basing on multiple "find /replace" pairs that are on your Excel lists.

For example, your data can contain the entry "ABC Corporation" and you want to change it to "ABC Corp". You may have hundreds or thousands of such data "pairs". Also you have a number of search and replace options to provide the control you need to modify your data.

Data Cleaner for Excel: Remove blanks (spaces)

The remove blanks option removes excess blanks (spaces), blanks at the ends or remove all blanks.

Data Cleaner for Excel: Change Case

The change text case option changes the case of your words to:

• UPPER CASE;
• lower case;
• Proper Case
• Sentence case (Capitalize just the first word in an entry).

Data Cleaner: Convert trailing negatives

The convert trailing negatives option converts text entries like 123- or 10CR to negative numbers. A number of programs, most notable SAP, use the trailing negative approach, which this option solves.

Converts Excel cell entries that look like numbers but behave like text strings back into numbers. This problem is often encountered when you import data from other programs.
